How do I keep my stuff together?
Keep everything together when you or the removals company are packing boxes. Keep bookends with books, light bulbs with lamps, and extension cords with appliances. Small loose parts can be attached to the item they belong to with tape or placed in small envelopes to keep pictures hooks with pictures, shelf brackets with a bookcase, a special wrench and bolts with the wall unit. Keep larger corresponding items (such as cable TV cord) in Ziplock bags and tape these to the underside or back of the item.
Why do I need labelling?
Mark all your boxes well so that the content can be easily identified - colour coding also works well. Keep items that are related together. Clearly mark boxes that contain fragile items.
Extra Boxes
Ensure that you have at least 10 extra empty boxes handy on moving day. You can never be too prepared for contingencies.

Wardrobe boxes are ideal for lightweight but bulky items, such as clothing, comforters and pillows. It will keep your hanging clothes crease free and quick to unpack. Measure the width of your clothes in your closets to find out how many boxes you will need.
